Montrose is one of Glendale’s most desired neighborhoods. It’s like a bit of Mayberry in the city. The family owned mom and pop stores mixed with eclectic restaurants and a walkable downtown make it a location that people flock to just to hang out and have fun. There is a Farmer’s Market every Sunday as well as numerous arts and crafts shows, a car show a Christmas Parade and even Oktoberfest. Homes that are close enough for people to walk to the Montrose Shopping Park are in high demand. There are a number of outdoor dining areas in front of several of the restaurants that are a draw on sunny days.
